Statement

​Did time exist? Or is everything we remember happening at the same time? Is time just memory fragments experienced in different locations of one 3D space? A series of multi-faceted mirror brooches show these so-called "time points".  We think that we miss so many beautiful “moments”, and we regret letting them pass us by.  However, we might have never missed anything. Every single element has never left our universe. They just moved from one place to another. This idea came from the study and consideration of time. As a visual artist, I am trying to use my works to question the existence of time as the 4th dimension of our space. Through light reflection and mirrors, we can see more sides of an object, or even an infinite perspective of the universe. As a jewellery designer, I would like to be able to wear this concept, and bring this thought to viewers. Perhaps if we look at time differently, we might not feel so rushed anymore.
